Hanuman, J Class, sailing in race 1 during the Newport Bucket Regatta. J Class Hanuman is a replica of the 1937 America’s Cup boat Endeavour II. Built by Royal Huisman in 2009, Hanuman is at the top of the list with Eleonora as my new favorite boat to photograph. The idea of building a new J boat, or restoring any classic with such auspicious heritage, is a commendable boon to the sport, whether intended or not.
