Grenada Workboats #1
The annual Workboat Regatta portion of the Grenada Sailing Festival is perhaps one of the most spirited and colorful events in sailing! The racing between the sailors onboard these former fishing boats gets quite competitive, although the tactics have more to do with keeping the boat afloat than the racing rules of sailing. In fact, I am sure most of the sailors believe the boat which has the right-of-way at a crossing is the one which shouts the loudest, and does not sink after the inevitable collision!
